Technical Training: General Principles for the Installation of Large and Small Cold Storage Refrigeration Systems

On December 21th,our company held a technical training on cold storage installation. Engineer Mr. Liu, from refrigeration technology department ,as a training lecturer; the pre-sales engineers, overseas sales, engineering department, some agents through online to participate in the training.
In training, Engineer Mr. Liu said: refrigeration system power of large and small cold storage will be different, price is different also, but the cooling system installed in the cooling system must follow the general principles, otherwise it will for refrigeration system installation does not reach the designated position caused by cold storage operation failure, affect the use of large and small cold storage. The general principles of refrigeration system installation are as follows.
1) The layout of the refrigeration system should be considered according to the refrigeration process and easy to use and management, and mainly for use. The refrigeration unit should be close to the cold storage, the compressor should be as close as possible to the evaporator and condenser, shorten the pipe, in order to reduce the flow resistance and cold loss of the pipeline, and should be away from the stove and other equipment with heat source.
2) The machine room should be spacious, there is a free flow of air around the machine, when necessary, the wall should be installed exhaust fans, strengthen the ventilation of the machine room, in order to facilitate the heat dissipation of the unit. There should be about 1m open space around the unit for the operation and maintenance of the management personnel. The ambient temperature of the equipment room should not exceed 40 ° C or lower than 0 ° C.
3) The motor of the refrigeration system shall be powered by special line. Cooling water pipe should be dedicated to water supply, its pressure should not be less than 0.12mpa. The water intake pipe should be equipped with a valve to regulate the amount of water, preferably equipped with automatic control valve. The water pipe should take into account the water that can be discharged from the condenser in winter, so as not to cause the pipe to freeze and crack.
4) For the evaporator and condenser separately packed, the internal cleaning should be checked and cleaned with nitrogen or dry compressed air. The cleaning should be done thoroughly as far as possible.
5) Each connection should be very clean, pipeline layout should be correct, reasonable and tidy appearance, to minimize the loss of pipeline resistance. Reasonably arrange the position of auxiliary equipment, and should consider not to interfere with the maintenance and overhaul of other equipment. Wrap the insulation layer of the low-pressure return pipe after the system leak detection meets the requirements.
Engineer Mr. Liu stressed: whether it is large cold storage installation or small cold storage installation, different modules can be installed at the same time, but in the installation must follow the basic principles, especially the refrigeration system installation, but to strictly follow its specific principles.
In the whole training, Engineer Mr. Liu explained the above five points in detail one by one, and the participants asked questions about the unclear places. Engineer Liu gave detailed answers to every question. Through the training, help pre-sales engineers to do a better offer scheme, help salesmen and agents to better communicate with customers, and make the engineering department pay more attention to and abide by these principles in the future construction.
